Grooming Services Available in our Salon
At Pampered Paws we offer a number of services to suit all your pets grooming needs. If there is something specific you would like that is not listed here, please contact us.
Please keep the following in mind when you are booking an appointment with us:
· Ear Plucking is only undertaken on relevant breeds. Please inform us if you do not require this service.
· We do empty anal glands free of charge with a groom however this must be mentioned on booking. We will NOT empty them unless you have specifically requested this service.
· Dry Shampoo for cats: This service is offered as part of both the maintenance programme and the Cat grooming programme. Please note that a dry-shampoo must be requested upon booking so that we can allow enough time to carry it out.
Full Groom
This is the ultimate pamper! We will remove any dead fur or knots, cut their nails and clean/pluck their ears. We will then trim the fur under their paws, give them TWO washes using organic shampoo and dry them using our animal friendly blow dryers. We finish this off by scissoring or clipping them into the style that you require and, if this wasn’t enough, we give their coat a good spray with our all natural coat conditioner and either a male, female or baby powder cologne spray.
Hand Stripping
This process is a specialty of our salon. We will remove dead fur, hand strip your dog, clean and pluck their ears, cut their nails and trim the fur under their paws. They will then get not one, but two washes using coat specific, organic shampoo and are given a blow dry. To finish this off, your dog will get a spritz of all natural cologne that will last up to 3 days, coming back to the service when your dog gets wet!
Wash and Tidy
This is your basic, between grooms, service. We will remove all dead hair and knots, clean their ears and pluck them if you require it. We will also cut their nails and trim the fur underneath their paws. They will then get TWO washes using organic shampoo, a blow dry and be finished off with coat conditioning spray.
Cat Grooming
At Pampered Paws we’re not afraid to take on those feisty felines who won’t let you brush them. If they have knots or are matted then please notify us in advance so that we can allow plenty of time. When grooming cats we provide them with lots of breaks, working on them for short bursts of 20 minutes over a longer period of time. We will remove all dead hair and knots, trim under their belly and their knicker area with a clipper, clean their ears and trim their nails. We also offer the option of a dry shampoo for those really dirty cats.
Cat Maintenance Programme
This is the best way to keep up with grooming for cats that just don’t do a good enough job themselves! We will remove all dead hair, trim under their belly with a clipper and their knicker area, clean their ears and trim their nails. This service is low cost when undertaken regularly as recommended by our groomers.
Nails Only
A quick, no-nonsense way of getting your pets’ nails cut. We provide this service on a walk-in basis for dogs or by appointment only for cats. This service is also available to rabbits, gerbils and hamsters! Please call us to find out if we are able to offer this service for a different animal.
